Yecla is famous for its furniture industry, having many companies that fabricate and export all over the world. From here Valencia is 1 hour drive, Alicante and Murcia are also 1 hour drive. A new motorway has recently been finished which has opened up Yecla as a town much more accessible than in previous times. Still a very Spanish town, but with a good expat community.
