Fiestas

In August Blanca celebrates its summer fiestas in honour of the patron saint San Roque. It is the most important day for all the people of Blanca. The running of the bulls is a tradition that has been celebrated for more than three hundred years and is a unique event in the Region of Murcia.

During the morning, the atmosphere along the whole route of the encierro is one of unbridled joy, in which the dances and parades of the charangas, encourage all those who join in the festivities, where everyone is welcome. It is always held before the 15th of August
